Sudden action on CISPA today signals that the House was instructed to pass the legislation despite overwhelming opposition. It was rushed to the floor a day early and quickly brought to a vote with additional amendments.

Alex Jones reports on the passage of CISPA. As of this writing, the corporate media has not bothered to post a video.

“Pushing the bill through is bad enough, but what’s worse are the amendments that Rep. Ben Quayle (R – AZ) managed to get added. These amendments make CISPA infinitely worse than it already was,” writes Game Politics.

The amendments converted the supposed “cybersecurity” bill into an outright Big Brother surveillance tool that completely nullifies Fourth Amendment protection online.

From Techdirt:

Previously, CISPA allowed the government to use information for “cybersecurity” or “national security” purposes. Those purposes have not been limited or removed. Instead, three more valid uses have been added: investigation and prosecution of cybersecurity crime, protection of individuals, and protection of children. Cybersecurity crime is defined as any crime involving network disruption or hacking, plus any violation of the CFAA.

Basically this means CISPA can no longer be called a cybersecurity bill at all. The government would be able to search information it collects under CISPA for the purposes of investigating American citizens with complete immunity from all privacy protections as long as they can claim someone committed a “cybersecurity crime”. Basically it says the 4th Amendment does not apply online, at all. Moreover, the government could do whatever it wants with the data as long as it can claim that someone was in danger of bodily harm, or that children were somehow threatened—again, notwithstanding absolutely any other law that would normally limit the government’s power.

Dirty tricks were used to pass CISPA. The legislation allows the national security state to circumvent the Constitution and allow carte blanche surveillance of the internet – from computer networks to private computers and devices to the emerging “internet of things.” Passage of CISPA is a milestone for the high-tech surveillance police state now going in place.

The traitors in Congress threw up a wilted fig leaf to cover their posteriors. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) said the bill was “needed to prepare for countries like Iran and North Korea so that they don’t do something catastrophic to our networks here in America,” Politico reports, while Speaker of the House John Boehner said the legislation will protect the economy and create jobs.

Rogers’ transparent excuse was is little more than a sick joke considering the fact the U.S. and Israel unleashed the Stuxnet virus on Iran’s computer network. North Korea is a convenient culprit and its ability to attack the United States is seriously in question, especially after another failure to put a satellite in orbit, something the former Soviet Union and the United States did over half a century ago.

Following the defeat of SOPA and PIPA earlier this year, Congress was told to sell CISPA as a bulwark against terrorism. Obama has promised to veto the bill but this remains to be seen and is likely yet another trick.

In December at the last moment Obama signed the NDAA after he said he would veto it. No doubt he will perform the same parlor trick with CISPA.

Call your representatives now and strongly voice your condemnation. Also call your senator and warn him or her that there will be serious repercussions if they vote this monstrosity into law.

  1. dont say anything on the internet that you wouldnt say in a crowded room full of strangers.

the internet is just “too good a vehicle” for the feds to pass up. what ever happened to opinion

  2. the legislation will protect the economy and create jobs.

HAHAHA YEA RIGHT ! more big government jobs in in alphabet agencys .
how long will sites like this be allowed to exist?

free speech is ok in america as long as it is properly monitored !

  3. Now that we are in a police state, those Nazi bastards had better watch their step, for when a country’s citizens become inflamed they may opt to strike at night with little warning pursuing the tactics of Guerrilla warfare. I don’t believe that the American citizens will go so willingly into those concentration camps as did the Jews during WWII. This will not be another Ruby Ridge, or Waco Texas type scenario…..

The leaders of our country are pushing their Nazi Socialist agenda, and any who would want to take the side of government intrusions had better know what they are about to get into.

For the people of this great country, Do know, that the psychology of those who want to shoot and kill another human on our home turf CAN ONLY be met with like determination. You don’t have time to do a sit down with those psychopaths and try and reason with them. They understand this as well, so your only option may have to be, to take the first step, and take out the garbage.

Our government is forcing the issue, knowing full well that our country is armed to the teeth will try and take you out one at a time. Talk to your neighbors, get an idea as to which side of the fence they lean toward.

Stupidity knows no bounds, when it comes to seeking out aggrandizement and/or accolades from the psychopaths who are “Just Following Orders”, when the rank and file minions are ordered to fire upon our own citizens.

If our boys and girls in Afghanistan think it is bad there, they had better rethink what it will be like if America’s anger reaches a point of Critical Mass. Do remember that the TSA and HOMELAND SECURITY ARE the enemy of the sovereignty of the people.

Also remember; America has NO NATIONAL SECURITY problem, as this is purely a manipulative fear tactic to get you to believe that what they are doing will make you feel secure. DO YOU? YOU WON’T WHEN THE HAMMER COMES DOWN !!!

AND FOR YOU GOVERNMENT IDIOTS, YOU DO KNOW, IT IS PRODUCING THE OPPOSITE AFFECT. AT WHAT POINT DO YOU MINIONS OF THE DEVIL THINK THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY WILL BOTHER TO FIGHT BACK?

Also for the citizens; They believe they have already worked out that scenario backwards and forwards and have a pretty good idea as to just how far and how fast they can push you before you explode. Stay flexible and movable people and don’t present yourself as a sitting target. The less they know of your plans the better, because the less they know, the more they have to guess, which will serve you in Guerrilla type tactics !!!

You know that the ONLY reason they want to control the WEB is to ostensibly stay one step ahead of when the populace is about to reach that Critical Mass !!!

THE GOVERNMENT BELIEVES IT IS IN A FIGHT FOR ITS LIFE ! YOU HAD BETTER ALSO !!!

  4. the District of Criminals strikes again, and again, and again…

the friggin psychopaths are worse than a four year old,
that wants a cookie and wont take NO for an answer.
people screamed NO about bankster bailouts, DC didnt care..
    SOPA, PIPA, CISPA, whatever..
they hear NO, they rename it and try again till its passed,
usually with the public unaware, “behind closed doors”,
because the CIA-NAZI controlled MSM keeps the shit hushed.

IF, I had a job with a 10% performance approval rating,
chances are really good I’d be unemployed very quickly,
it’s also possible the employer could sue me,
wasted time and materials for when I was busily sabotaging his operation!
-oh but DC dont wanna hear about VOTES LIKE THAT..

  5. Heil mein fuhrer
I knew he would sign the papers once his supreme draconian powers were added
    to the bill …
