As law enforcement agencies and the federal government accelerate their preparations for civil unrest, a new 5 million volt tactical cattle prod has been developed for the purposes of “crowd control” and pain compliance.
In the video above, Donovan Hunter of Stunning Developments, Inc. showcases the new BattleProd, the world’s first weapon-mountable pain compliance-inducing stun baton which Hunter says is designed for use in “crowd control applications.”
The weapon was on display at the recent 2012 SOFIC (Special Operations Forces Industry Conference), described as “the defense industry’s premier event,” and attended by military and police professionals. The event was sponsored by Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.
According to a write-up of the BattleProd by Defense Review, the weapon is “intimidating” and “loud”.
“This thing is just too much fun. I mean, what’s not too like? It gives you 3-5 million volts of compliance-inducing electricity either in your hand (handheld variant) or at the end of your weapon (rifle/carbine, weapon-mountable variant). Touch the BattleProd anywhere on the rod (front, sides, etc.), and you’re goin’ down like a sack a’ potatoes. Actually, you’re probably goin’ night-night for a little while,” writes David Crane.
The most powerful Tasers can only reach around 50,000 volts and despite being described as “non-lethal” have killed at least 500 Americans. Given that the BattleProd can achieve 5 million volts, concerns surrounding the safety of the device will obviously be paramount. However, in the clip Hunter claims that the weapon cannot kill and that victims fully recover after around 20 minutes.
The fact that the weapon is being developed for use by both police and military assets who are increasingly being re-oriented to carry out homeland security operations will increase fears that the BattleProd will be another tool of domestic oppression in the event of widespread civil unrest.
As we reported last week, LRAD sonic weapons which are also designed to disperse crowds via non-lethal pain compliance are being deployed “throughout” America in readiness for upcoming national emergencies and other crises.
The Department of Homeland Security, the US Army, US Military Police, as well as law enforcement bodies across the country are all making preparations for riots and civil unrest in light of domestic disorder that has gripped Europe as a result of the financial crisis, most recently in Greece and Spain.
A recently leaked US Army Military Police training manual for “Civil Disturbance Operations” outlines how military assets are to be used domestically to quell riots, confiscate firearms and even kill Americans on U.S. soil during mass civil unrest.

Actually we have had 3-5 million volt stun guns on the internet for 3 plus years. I have seen different sites where you can get them The only difference is this one is extended and longer then the ones I have seen. I have zapped myself with a 3.5 million volt one that I have bought and yes my arm was sore for 30 minutes after I zapped myself from contact with my hand. It was only a split second contact because my hand let go of it immediately. I WOULD SUMMERIZE THAT THIS ON WILL CAUSE HEART PROBLEMS FOR SURE. AT 5 MILLION IT IS QUITE LETHAL BECAUSE MY 3.5 MILLION IS LETHAL.

I had a friend hit me with one I bought that was 250,000 volts about 15 years ago. He hit me in the leg as I was giving him a bear hug as I wanted to see if he felt anything. I had no idea you coukld fall that fast,it was like my torso was in free fall with no legs. I was flailing around on the groud speaking incoherently for 4-5 minutes. I probably could’ve gotten up within 10 min. but I just didn’t want to and I remember it like it was yesterday. After being hit with one of these things it makes quite an impression psychologically…and again that was only 250,000 volts

What is the need for this item exactly what does our Government have in mind for us? Why should they need such powerful devices its time to react to this and let every politician in office know this is unacceptable! It almost sounds as though our Government has decided the people dont rule this nation and that we are to be herded like Cattle! What happened to our God given right to protest? Remamber citizens we run this country we pay for it all and we are supposed to have a say in how our country is run this is unacceptable period!

Aren’t our manufacturers just clever little boys. Those idiots would manufacture Iron Maidens if it looked like HLS could get away with torture. Just where do we humans draw the line in supporting this miltarlistically developing police state.
Leave it up to Northrup, Lockheed and the likes of Raytheon to foster this “Special Operations Forces Industry Conference”, They are literally developing a we against them mentality because all of their monies are attained by manufacturing almost exclusively for the government and the Military Machine. Just what do those sick bastards think their products will be used for.
We are now suffering under the full extent of what Eisenhower warned us about when he left office. And, all three of those companies are also a part of the problem of which Kennedy warned us, in one of his famous speeches about secrecy and organizations manipulating policy behind the lines, as it were.
Sadly the Posse Comitatus Act does not prevent the National Guard nor our police from using their militaristic design in support of stifling civil disorder. That act has just about been gutted by your stupid Congressional Representatives. If the state perceives that it foundations are about to be jack-hammered by civil unrest, they will call into action every available truncheon available, justifying it by declaring that the state must survive, giving no heed to the concept that they work for you, and it is you who tells them what to do.
If your young do battle in the streets with this military hardened police force, they will be defeated in short order, simply because you cannot fight against a cannon with a pitchfork. Those men in uniform are the body of the snake, but without its head that snake’s body cannot constrict and strangle you. So if you want to quell the power of the state, you must take off the head of the snake. The decision for you now is, what constitutes the head of the snake !!!
